You have likely heard the saying credited to Mister Rogers that when you are in the midst of a disaster or a community hardship, look for the helpers. In finding the helpers, you are comforted by the human connection we all seek. The love that connects us all.
Indeed, humans are wired for love. The human existence is about seeking love. In the midst of a disaster, the helpers are acting from a place of love and making heart connections. So when you are in a disaster, yes, look for the helpers and also be the helper. Look for the love and be the love.
Today, I challenge you to take this state of mind into the every day experience and not just in times of emergency when your attention becomes hyper focused and the need is great. Sometimes it is harder to find the helpers and the love in the hustle and bustle of the regular days. In all you do look for the helpers and look for the love, and be the helper with an open heart.

Two open hearts allow for communication.
Three open hearts allow for community.
A world of open hearts allows for peace.
In all you do, look for the love from an open heart.
